Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is speaking publicly about the death of her ex-partner Ken Urker. In an update to her Change.org anti-cyberbullying petition, Blanchard said it is“100 percent”certain that Urker did not die by suicide. Urker was found dead at his Louisiana home on October 1, his 34th birthday. An autopsy found no definitive cause of death, and toxicology results are still pending, meaning no official conclusion has been reached.

Blanchard says severe cyberbullying damaged Urker’s mental health and led to unhealthy coping through drugs and alcohol. She is asking Reddit to investigate a snark page she claims targeted him, and she’s advocating for a proposed“Kenan’s Law”focused on pattern-based harassment reporting. Her daughter Aurora, shared with Urker, is one year old.

The story has reignited conversations about platform accountability and where online criticism crosses into harm. With toxicology pending, many questions remain unanswered. What do you think platforms should be required to do about repeat harassment? Sound off in the comments.
