Foot Fetish Site Owner Arrested on Sex Trafficking Charges

When a business owner uses his platform to prey on vulnerable women, it’s not just a scandal—it’s a crime that demands accountability. That’s exactly what happened with Jason Khan, who ran the foot fetish site FootPadNYC.com out of New York, according to charges announced by the U.S. Attorney’s Office on Monday.

Khan’s method was calculated. He lured aspiring foot models to hotel rooms by dangling the promise of legitimate modeling work. Once they arrived for their interviews, the alleged assaults began. According to the indictment, Khan sexually assaulted three women on separate occasions—two with vaginal penetration and a third by forcing her feet on his penis. None of the victims consented. All three reported their assaults to authorities, and two underwent rape kits, providing forensic evidence.

What makes this case particularly troubling is the deliberate deception. These women didn’t walk into a dangerous situation by accident—they were targeted through Khan’s own business platform, which he weaponized to gain their trust. The predatory playbook here is disturbingly straightforward: build a facade of legitimacy, use it to isolate your victims, then exploit them.

Khan was arrested Monday and now faces three counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. Each charge carries a sentence of 15 to life. NYPD Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch made clear where authorities stand:“This horrific behavior has no place in our city, and we will not allow predators to prey on vulnerable women.”

The broader takeaway cuts deeper than one arrest. It’s a reminder that online platforms—no matter how niche—can become hunting grounds when moderation is absent and accountability is lax. These cases also underscore why victims come forward. The courage of these three women to report what happened, to submit to rape kits, and to pursue justice through the criminal system is what stops predators from operating in the shadows indefinitely.
