The ninth annual Festival Of The Wichitas takes over the Sonrise Adult&Teen Challenge campus on Saturday, Oct. 3, from noon to 6 p.m. You’ll find it at 19792 NW Cache Road, about five miles west of Cache. It has grown into the biggest fall festival in southwest Oklahoma, and this year’s lineup shows why.
The day includes a pumpkin patch, carnival rides, a Ferris Wheel, hayrides, face painting, bounce houses and food trucks. Nearly 100 Oklahoma craft vendors will be set up, which makes this a solid spot to get ahead on holiday shopping while the kids stay busy. Tickets start at just $1, and Unlimited Fun Wristbands are $35 for anyone who wants to ride everything.
