Two Eisenhower High School boys basketball coaches, head coach Craig Foster and assistant Tevin Foster, have resigned following a hazing incident that was captured on video. The footage showed students putting another male student head-first into a trash can and stripping him. Lawton Public Schools confirmed the resignations in a letter sent to basketball parents Thursday. Foster was hired in July 2025 and went 8-15 in his only season with the Eagles.
The district says students involved have been disciplined, and the investigation was handled by the district’s police force before being turned over to the Comanche County District Attorney’s office. No adult charges have been filed, and the district did not name either coach as a subject of its investigation. Superintendent Neal Weaver addressed the incident directly, saying the conduct was disturbing, unacceptable, and inconsistent with the standards Lawton Public Schools holds for students and athletic programs.
The DA review remains open, which means there could be more developments ahead. For now, the resignations close one chapter while leaving bigger questions about program culture, athlete safety, and oversight.
