Dylan Sprouse Admits He Never Tackled the Home Intruder—And He's Totally Okay With the Lie

Dylan Sprouse just gave us the most refreshingly honest celebrity confession in ages. On the‘Wildmen’podcast, the Suite Life star revealed that he never actually tackled a home intruder at his Hollywood Hills property back in April 2026. And here’s the kicker: he’s completely fine letting everyone believe he did.“I never tackled the guy. Everybody thinks I did and I’m not correcting them. I want people to think I did because it’s cool,”Sprouse said. We have to admit, his reasoning is hilarious.

The real story is actually way more interesting than the headline suggests. While Sprouse and his wife Barbara Palvin were opening Pokémon card packs at around 12:30 a.m., an alleged intruder showed up at their front door. Sprouse immediately grabbed his 1911 Kimber pistol, told his wife to call 911, and calmly instructed the seemingly intoxicated man to leave the property. The guy was holding a cigarette and a longboard skateboard, which Sprouse took as a sign that something was off. No physical altercation happened. The intruder left peacefully, was arrested on outstanding warrants, and Sprouse chose not to press charges. The couple handled the whole ordeal with humor, using jokes to process what could have been a traumatic situation.

Now Sprouse and Palvin are moving on to much happier news: they’re expecting their first child together, a baby girl. The fact that Sprouse is willing to laugh off the exaggerated version of events and share the real story shows a level of self-awareness that’s pretty rare in celebrity culture. So what do you think? Is Dylan genius for leaning into the cool version of the story, or would you have corrected the record right away?
