Cindy Crawford's Gucci Runway Secret: Her Heel Came Out of Her Shoe and Nobody Noticed

Cindy Crawford has walked more runways than most models will ever see, but even she gets nervous before a big show. In her new Porter magazine cover story, the 60-year-old supermodel revealed that during Gucci’s cruise 2027 show in Times Square, her heel slipped out of her shoe the moment she stepped onto the runway. She never got it back in. The reason no one caught it? Her voluminous feathered gown was so heavy and so dramatic that it completely hid the situation, letting her finish the walk without a single Cinderella moment.

The show itself was a full pop culture event. Paris Hilton, Gabbriette and Tom Brady all took turns on the catwalk, while Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Lindsay Lohan and Shawn Mendes watched from the front row. Crawford said her daughter, model Kaia Gerber, was incredibly supportive and proud of her, especially when nerves kicked in before such a huge production.

Crawford also pushed back on the idea that women of a certain age should fade into the background, saying she doesn’t want to add to that mindset.
