Children's Home of Lubbock Fall Festival Returns October 3rd With Free Admission

The Children’s Home of Lubbock is bringing back its biggest community tradition of the year. The 37th Annual Fall Festival takes over the campus at 4404 Idalou Road on Saturday, October 3rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and admission costs nothing. Vendors, food trucks, kids’games, inflatables, a bake sale and a silent auction fill out the four-hour event.

The bake sale and silent auction aren’t just for fun. Every dollar raised goes to the Children’s Home, a Christ-centered nonprofit that has served abused, neglected and traumatized children since 1954. Over that stretch, more than 7,500 kids have come through its foster care, counseling, adoption and independent-living programs. Tiffany Schuler, the organization’s Chief Development Officer, calls the festival a tradition that shows what the community is all about, and a chance for families to see the mission they help make possible.
