The Milwaukee Brewers are World Series champions for the first time ever. Milwaukee clinched the title with a 4-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 5 at Tropicana Field, ending a 58-season wait and delivering the city its first championship 44 years after the 1982 team fell in Game 7 to St. Louis.

The stars were young and loud. Rookie Cooper Pratt set a World Series rookie record with six consecutive hits and drove in two runs, while Jacob Misiorowski threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings before a calf cramp ended his night. William Contreras took World Series MVP honors. The Brewers led the majors with 103 regular-season wins and went 11-2 in the postseason, including a sweep of the Dodgers in the NLCS. Tampa Bay, meanwhile, is now 0-3 in World Series appearances.

The celebration comes with a looming shadow: a management lockout could begin December 2 and threaten the 2027 season. For now, Milwaukee is savoring a title no one predicted. What was your favorite moment from this Brewers run?
