Ashley St. Clair Says Elon Musk Cut Her $80K a Month After She Refused an NDA

A new claim in Alex Gibney’s documentary“Musk”is blowing up online, and it involves a whole lot of money, an NDA, and a custody battle. Ashley St. Clair, the mother of Elon Musk’s 2-year-old son Romulus, says Musk initially offered $15 million and $100,000 a month for her silence. She says she refused to sign the NDA, and her payments allegedly dropped to $40,000 and then to $20,000 after she announced the baby’s birth in February 2025.

The legal side is just as complicated. St. Clair sued Musk for full custody in February 2025, and she’s also pursuing separate legal action against Musk’s AI company xAI over explicit fake images of her that were allegedly generated by the Grok chatbot. Musk, 55, has 14 children with four different women, so this story has plenty of moving parts and people watching closely.

Meanwhile, St. Clair isn’t quiet about her feelings. She summed up Musk’s relationship history with a line about a“Gatling gun of sperm in his DMs,”which has become the most-quoted part of the documentary online. We want to know what you think. Would you sign the NDA for that money, or speak up like she did? Sound off in the comments.
