Anna Wintour has made her decision. The legendary Vogue editor and Met Gala chair is planning to honor John Galliano at the 2027 event, calling him a creative genius despite his well-documented antisemitic outburst in 2011 that cost him his job at Dior. The move has divided the fashion world and beyond, with some celebrities and cultural figures refusing to attend the star-studded event.

Actress Jill Kargman has been the most vocal critic, publicly stating she is“appalled”and vowing to boycott.“I guess antisemitism is OK now at the highest art museum,”she wrote. The backlash is also fueled by new allegations.
