Alan Ritchson has been grinding in Hollywood for nearly two decades, and 2026 is finally his year. Reacher season 4 is a top performer on Prime Video, the spinoff Neagley premieres September 16, and he’s about to headline his first wide theatrical release in Runner, an action-comedy about a reformed tough guy transporting a liver to a sick girl alongside Owen Wilson.

If you’ve only experienced Ritchson as Jack Reacher, you’re missing out on one of the most delightfully random filmographies in the business. He did motion-capture work in 2007’s Beowulf. He played Gloss in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. He brought Raphael to life in the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He showed up in Fast X, flexed genuine comedic timing in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and held his own opposite Hilary Swank in Ordinary Angels.

And the best is yet to come. This Christmas, Ritchson stars opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Man With the Bag, a Prime Video holiday film where Arnold plays Santa Claus. From mo-cap body double to leading man to Santa’s co-star, it’s been one heck of a ride.

Which Alan Ritchson role do you think deserves more love? Drop it in the comments.
