Aaron Rodgers just shared some major personal news. On the“Not Just Football”podcast, the Steelers quarterback revealed he’s reconciled with his parents, Ed and Darla, and his brothers Luke and Jordan after years of estrangement. The family rift first became public in 2016 when Jordan discussed it on Season 12 of“The Bachelorette,”and for years Aaron chose not to address it publicly.

The reconciliation happened gradually. Aaron met with his parents first, then reconnected with Luke, and later with Jordan. He gives much of the credit to his wife Brittani, whom he secretly married in 2025, saying that being loved in such an unconditional way changed his perspective on all his relationships. He acknowledged there were“tough conversations”but says he’s in a much better headspace now.

Fans got a hint of the reunion back in July when Aaron appeared in Instagram photos with his parents and Luke, and Jordan later confirmed he’d repaired things with the whole family. It’s a rare personal chapter for a polarizing athlete, and a reminder that even the longest family standoffs can end.

Have you ever repaired a relationship you thought was over for good? Tell us your story in the comments.
