Lawton’s holiday calendar is stacked this November, and the first big weekend is here. The Hippie Holiday Handmade Market runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at 1701 Ferris Ave., and Sunday at 5 p.m. Full Circle hosts its first Ugly Christmas Sweater Fashion Show, with proceeds going to the Lawton Food Bank.
Mid-month keeps the momentum going. Stop&Shop Local brings more than 80 vendors to the Hilton Garden Inn from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14. Then the 53rd Annual Craft Harvest Show fills the Comanche County Fairgrounds Expo Building Nov. 20 through 22 with over 200 vendors, plus Santa and Mrs. Claus for photos.
The month wraps on Nov. 21: Lawton Ballet Theatre’s Holiday Spectacular at 1 p.m. at Eisenhower Middle School Auditorium, then the Holiday in the Park Parade through Elmer Thomas Park at 6 p.m. Lights and ice skating continue through Dec. 31. So, which event is going on your family’s calendar first?
