Will Reeve, the ABC News correspondent and son of Christopher and Dana Reeve, is sharing something deeply personal: earlier this year, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer after nearly ignoring the first sign. Back in April, he noticed a tender lump in the shower.“I was concerned, but figured that it would pass,”he said. It was his wife, Amanda Dublin Reeve, who urged him to get an ultrasound. That scan revealed a mass, and surgery followed ten days later. The pathology showed 95% embryonal carcinoma.
His journey didn’t stop there. In June, doctors removed dozens of lymph nodes, and three tested positive for cancer. Reeve went through two rounds of chemotherapy, dealing with bone pain, ringing ears, headaches, night sweats, and blood clots. Along the way, he and Amanda pursued fertility preservation and IVF. Through it all, he kept moving forward. On September 8, 2026, he was declared cancer-free.
