The second-annual VRT Awards turned the Edison Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan into the biggest reality TV reunion of the year on Tuesday night. Hosted by Danny Murphy and Evan Real, the fan-voted show brought more than 60 stars under one roof, with Tri-State Cadillac, CoverGirl, Philo and Kahlúa sponsoring the celebration.
The winners list delivered everything fans predicted and a few surprises. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania shared Best Return to Screen, Kyle Cooke was named Hot-Tea of the Year before taking over the afterparty deejay booth, and Meredith Marks claimed Style Icon. Whitney Rose presented Breakout Star to Ariana Biermann, while The Golden Life cast, including Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan, accepted the Golden Kettle Award. Luann also won Musician of the Year and announced her new single“To All The Boys”arrives Oct. 16.
If you missed the livestream, Philo starts streaming the full show for free on its ad-supported platform Oct. 9. Between the speeches and Teresa joking she had a speech prepared but had too much to drink, the replay is worth the watch. Which VRT Awards moment are you replaying first?
