The 82-year-old creator has been quietly making every video a tribute to her son, Frederick“Freddy”John Cox Jr., who was 27 and working on the 104th floor of the South Tower when United Airlines Flight 175 struck on September 11, 2001. That was 25 years ago today, and Ann has spent every year since making sure nobody forgets his name.

She joined TikTok in 2020, went viral in 2024, and this past August her birthday tribute to Freddy pulled in 27 million views. Freddy was 27. Ann sees the matching numbers as a sign from him, and honestly, after you hear everything she’s built in his memory, it’s hard to argue.
