TV Host Cyril Hanouna Knocked Down Two AI Boxing Robots on Live TV and the Internet Has Jokes

A French TV host just did what most of us would never attempt: he stepped into a boxing ring with two AI-controlled humanoid robots and won. Cyril Hanouna, host of Tout Beau Tout Neuf, fought robots named Bob and Leo during a live segment, and the footage is now blowing up across social media. Hanouna knocked the blue robot to the floor twice with right hands, then landed a shot on the red robot that sent it stumbling into the audience bleachers before the bell ended things.

The robots weren’t props, either. They were programmed to fight and controlled by AI, which makes the whole thing feel like a real-life preview of every sci-fi movie we’ve ever watched. Social media users wasted zero time flipping the script, joking that Bob and Leo will remember the humiliation and target Hanouna first if AI ever makes its move.

This also isn’t the first man-versus-machine moment to go viral. Influencer Frankie LaPenna previously lost a cage fight to a human-operated REK robot, so Hanouna pulling off a two-robot beatdown is genuinely a step up for Team Human. The clip blends comedy, robot combat, and just enough AI anxiety to keep everyone talking.

Would you ever step into a ring with a fighting robot? Let us know in the comments.
