Tim Tebow is pressing pause on his partnership with Life Surge. The investigation, which aired Sept. 24, alleged that Life Surge uses Christian messaging and celebrity speakers to build trust before pitching education programs that cost tens of thousands of dollars. Former customers and employees said attendees were encouraged to use credit cards, home equity, and 401(k) savings to pay. Life Surge spokesperson Richard Lorenzen denied wrongdoing and disputed the central claims, but Tebow said his team will do its own fact-finding before deciding what comes next.
