The Markle family rift is back in the headlines in a major way. Thomas Markle Sr. is denying allegations from his son Thomas Markle Jr., who accused him of possessing child sex abuse material, a claim that has triggered an investigation. Thomas Sr. is calling the accusations“sick lies.”Meghan Markle also issued a statement, saying her decision to keep her father away from Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet was always about protecting her children.
In much lighter news, Dancing With the Stars had a memorable Dedication Night. Val Chmerkovskiy was suspended after a controversial comment aimed at judge Carrie Ann Inaba, so Alan Bersten stepped in, and Maks Chmerkovskiy said Alan“did a great job.”The performance paid off: Alan and Jenna Dewan earned her first 10 of the season with a Viennese waltz dedicated to her mother.
And Swifties are on high alert. A banner on Taylor Swift’s website shows 16 album covers topped by confetti shaped as“20,”which fans believe is an Easter egg tied to her debut album’s 20th anniversary. Re-recording rumors are already spreading fast. What do you think the“20”really means?
