In a message to fans, Swift said the tracks were born out of gratitude for how everyone celebrated the album. Then she added three words that say everything:“We wrote more songs.”
The song is only half the story. The“Patient Zero”video, which Swift directed herself, premieres at the MTV VMAs on Sunday, September 27. Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell star in it, with scenes that include a graveside moment and a tense party setting, and the cinematography comes from three-time Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki.
