Taylor Swift had one more surprise up her sleeve. On Friday, Sept. 25, she released The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, a deluxe edition of her 12th studio album, featuring four brand-new tracks:“Patient Zero,”“Cleveland!,”“Pink Clouding”and“Babylon.”
The songs came together in Sweden with producers Max Martin and Shellback, written right after the original album’s record-breaking first week. Swift explained that she and her team simply wanted to soak in their gratitude, and since a studio was right there, they did what they always do: wrote more music.“Patient Zero”leads the pack with a music video starring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell that premieres at the 2026 VMAs. Meanwhile,“Cleveland!”name-drops Travis Kelce’s hometown, and fans are convinced“Pink Clouding”is about Tom Hiddleston.
