Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's New Ohio Mansion Has a Voice Alarm That Warns Neighbors to Back Off

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially Ohio homeowners. The couple bought a 21,000-square-foot lakefront mansion in Bratenahl, Ohio, back in March for $5.35 million, and the place is stacked: eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a game room, a theater, and sweeping views of Lake Erie. It’s also just miles from Cleveland Heights, where Travis grew up, making this a full-circle kind of purchase.

The detail turning heads, though, is the security setup. A neighbor reportedly got too close to the house and was met with a voice warning telling them not to pass onto the property. The neighbor also said the couple hasn’t caused any commotion since moving in, so it seems the alarm is just doing its job. Their primary residence is still Travis’home in Leawood, Kansas, while he plays for the Chiefs, so the Ohio mansion is more of a lakefront escape.

Local realtor Patricia Knight Gary says the village has a small police force, so security around the property may grow even more. It’s an easy debate: when you’re one of the most famous couples on the planet, does a talking alarm make perfect sense, or is it a lot for a small town?

What would you do if a celebrity moved in next door?
