Sunday Rose Kidman Urban is 18, she’s on the cover of Vogue Germany, and she’s not pretending her last name had nothing to do with it. In the interview, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughter said she’s“very aware”that she gets opportunities not everyone can have, and that she’s truly grateful to take advantage of them. For a first major cover, that’s a remarkably self-aware answer to the nepo baby question everyone was going to ask anyway.
The road there wasn’t instant, though. Kidman refused to let her model until she turned 16, and her first job after that was opening the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2025 show. From there she’s modeled for Dior and Calvin Klein, all while growing up mainly in Nashville and finishing high school. She also named Kidman as her biggest inspiration, and shared the advice her mom gave her: always be punctual. Not bad as far as celebrity parent wisdom goes.
The cover also arrives after her parents’divorce was finalized in January. Sunday and her sister Faith Margaret, 15, now spend most of the year with Kidman. It’s a lot of change and a lot of spotlight for one 18-year-old, and she seems to be handling both with a level head.
