McBee Dynasty star Steven McBee Sr. has been ordered to pay $7 million total in his federal crop fraud case, according to court records. The 54-year-old agreed to a $3,158,923 forfeiture judgment and $4,022,124 in restitution to the USDA, with $300,000 due within 14 days and the remaining balance due within 10 months.

The case stems from a scheme involving federal crop insurance benefits he wasn’t entitled to. McBee pleaded guilty in November 2024 and admitted to selling over 1.2 million bushels of corn and nearly 416,000 bushels of soybeans in 2018. He was sentenced in October 2025, surrendered to federal prison in December, and was released in September after serving about nine months of a 24-month sentence, with the remainder under supervised release.

Since his release, McBee has returned to his Gallatin, Missouri farm and shared reflective posts about appreciating“the simple things in life.”His son, Steven McBee Jr., remains a fan favorite on the show. So what do you think: does a nine-month sentence fit a multi-million dollar fraud case? Sound off in the comments.
