Two weeks after Dolly Parton died at 80 on August 25, her sister Stella Parton says she has not received a single condolence from anyone she knows in the entertainment industry. Stella shared that during an interview on CBS Mornings, telling Gayle King, quote,“I haven’t had one condolence from anyone, anybody that I know, entertainers that I know.”The 77-year-old Nashville musician believes her political activism on social media may be the reason, pointing to a tweet opposing President Donald Trump posted just days before Dolly lost her cancer battle.
