The biggest opening weekend in movie history is finally available at home. Spider-Man: Brand New Day started streaming on Prime Video today, October 6, which means all of us who skipped the theater chaos can catch up tonight. The film hit theaters July 31 and immediately broke box office records on its way to becoming one of the highest-grossing movies ever.
Tom Holland returns for his fourth solo Spider-Man film, picking up right after No Way Home. Peter Parker is living in a world where everyone has forgotten he exists, and on top of that he’s dealing with evolving powers and a new telepathic threat. Zendaya is back as MJ, Jacob Batalon returns as Ned Leeds, and the cast also features Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, and Florence Pugh. There are some crossover moments fans have been talking about for months, so avoid spoilers if you’re late to the party.
Not a streaming person? The Blu-ray, 4K, and DVD release arrives December 15, and preorders are open now, which makes it a solid holiday gift. Rentals give you 30 days to start watching and 48 hours of access once you press play.
Are you watching Spider-Man: Brand New Day tonight, or waiting for the physical release?
