Snoop Dogg is officially hosting the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, and the show is heading back to the West Coast for the first time in nine years. The VMAs will take place Sept. 27 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with Snoop pulling double duty as host and executive producer.
For Snoop, it’s personal. The 13-time nominee and three-time winner called it a full-circle moment, pointing to his early MTV history and his reunion with longtime VMAs producer Van Toffler.
