Sharon Stone Trashes "Sliver" Dialogue as Billy Baldwin Says He'd Never Work With Her Again

The“Sliver”drama is back, and it’s bringing 1993 energy with it. In a new Variety interview, Sharon Stone called the dialogue in her 1993 erotic thriller terrible, adding that it was clearly written by a man without enough to do. She also revealed she banned the movie’s name from being spoken around her for years, which is a very creative way to handle a flop.

Her comments dropped just days after co-star Billy Baldwin said on a podcast that he’d never work with her again. Baldwin claims they got along fine for the first couple weeks of production, then she wouldn’t say hello or goodbye to him for three months. He also says he asked producers to cut their final kiss and that Stone criticized his acting on“Larry King Live.”

For all the mess,“Sliver”didn’t end anyone’s career. Critics panned it in’93, but Stone earned an Oscar nomination for“Casino”just two years later. Baldwin says he’d still like to make peace.
