Sharon Osbourne has shared the details of Ozzy Osbourne’s final hours in an emotional new interview with the BBC, and the moment she described is one fans won’t soon forget. According to Sharon, Ozzy woke in the middle of the night before his death and asked her to kiss him twice. Then he told her,“Hold me, hold me tight.”She says by the next morning, someone had run into her room telling her to come downstairs, and by the time she reached him, he was gone.

Ozzy died on July 22, 2025, at his home in Buckinghamshire, England, at age 76. His death certificate listed cardiac arrest, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction as the causes. More than a year later, Sharon says the loss hasn’t gotten easier. She visits his grave every day and told the BBC,“You never get over it. But you learn to live with it, and that’s what I’m trying to do.”She also finds comfort in knowing fans around the world are grieving alongside the family.
