Shakira’s October 3 concert in Madrid just became the most-viewed livestream by a female artist in Amazon Music history. The show is part of her 12-date residency at Shakira Stadium, a temporary venue built inside Madrid’s Iberdrola Music complex for the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which opened September 18 and wraps October 11.

The night’s biggest moment came when Dua Lipa walked out as a surprise guest to perform an acoustic version of“Antología,”the classic from Shakira’s 1997 album Pies Descalzos. Dua told the crowd it was an honor to sing a song that means so much to her with an artist admired and loved around the world. Shakira said she felt like her, Dua, and the audience were one.

More than 50,000 fans packed the venue while the show streamed on Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch, leading the platform’s 2026 Women Shaping Latin Music campaign. With Latin music’s global momentum and streaming platforms pushing live shows to bigger audiences, this record feels like a sign of where concerts are headed. So we have to ask: would you rather be in that Madrid crowd or watching the livestream from your couch?
