Ryan Murphy Says the Glee Reboot Script Is Done and 10 Cast Members Are Already Hyped

Ryan Murphy just confirmed that the Glee reboot script is finished, and he wrote it with original co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. The reveal came at the American Horror Story Season 13 premiere in New York City, where Murphy told Entertainment Tonight he wrapped the script just an hour before the interview. He also said he’s been in touch with around 10 original cast members, all of whom are enthusiastic but have plenty of questions.

That’s where the certainty ends. Nobody has read the script yet, and no platform is attached to the project, which comes from 20th Television. Jane Lynch and Lea Michele have both publicly said they’d return, which adds real momentum to the nostalgia factor.
