Rosalía Wants to Master Acting After Euphoria Debut, Eyes Film With Javier Bardem

Rosalía is officially adding“actress”to her long list of titles. The Spanish superstar made her television acting debut in Euphoria’s third season as Magick, and in a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she made it clear that this is only the beginning. She said she learned so much from the people she was surrounded by on set and that she wants to learn and master acting. According to her, acting is simply“a different discipline”than music.

The timing is wild when you consider everything else on her plate. She recently wrapped her nearly 60-show LUX Tour, and she has a collaboration with Fontaines D.C. still on the way. On top of all that, Deadline reports she’s in early talks to join the film Wet, which would put her alongside Javier Bardem and Rebecca Ferguson. Euphoria wasn’t even her first on-screen moment, since she had a brief appearance in Pain and Glory before this.

So what’s next for someone who refuses to slow down? If the talks go through, we could be seeing Rosalía on the big screen in a major role very soon. Until then, fans have plenty to keep up with between the tour aftermath and new music.
