Rosalía’s Thursday night ended with her name in the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame. Juan Luis Guerra presented the honor, and she thanked him onstage, calling him a“maestro de maestros”and telling him his songs made her cry, made her dance, made her feel alive. Then she turned her speech into a tribute to the artists who came before her, naming Celia Cruz, Rocío Dúrcal, Vicente Fernández, and Daddy Yankee as her inspirations.“I wouldn’t be able to do what I do if it weren’t for the artists who came before me and paved the way,”she said.
The Hall of Fame nod wasn’t her only win of the night. She also picked up Top Latin Pop Album of the Year for LUX, her latest full-length, and spoke about how much it means to make music in Spanish. That pride lands right before the 2026 Latin Grammys, where she’s one of the most-nominated artists on the board.
It’s the cherry on top of a massive year. Her 57-date LUX world tour wrapped in Miami in September, she’s been racking up nominations since, and now she’s got a Hall of Fame plaque to go with it all. Not bad for a Thursday.
