The announcement comes after a health scare. Stewart, 81, had a heart stent fitted last month, which forced him to cancel 11 US tour dates, including his Las Vegas residency. His representative said doctors are pleased with his recovery, and Stewart shared that he’s already feeling better and“very much on the mend.”He’ll rest for four weeks before ramping back up.
The career numbers are staggering: more than 250 million records sold worldwide and two inductions into the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame, one as a solo artist and one with Faces.
