The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn hosted a one-night-only“Rocky”in Concert Thursday, screening the 1976 original with a live symphony orchestra performing Bill Conti’s score. Stallone attended, and so did Conti himself — the man behind“Gonna Fly Now”heard his own music played in the room.

Before the screening, guests took in a live conversation about the film and its music. The night also doubled as a preview of sorts for“I Play Rocky,”the upcoming film whose team walked the carpet: Peter Farrelly alongside actors Anthony Ippolito and AnnaSophia Robb. Gayle King was spotted among the attendees, and the red carpet photos from the evening are already making the rounds.

Fifty years on, Rocky still fills a theater and still gets a full orchestra treatment. If you missed it, the live score was a one-night thing, but the franchise’s next chapter is on the way. Which Rocky movie would you want to see with a live orchestra next?
