Robert Wagner spent decades as one of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces, from 1950s films like Titanic and Prince Valiant to TV hits It Takes a Thief and Hart to Hart. But these days, the 96-year-old is living a much quieter life in Aspen, Colorado, where he’s called home since leaving Los Angeles back in 2007.

He never formally announced a retirement, but his last on-screen role was as Anthony DiNozzo Sr. on NCIS in 2019. Since then, Wagner has kept his public presence mostly to Instagram, where he shares tributes to his wife Jill St. John, his children, and his late wives Natalie Wood and Marion Marshall. This year he celebrated 36 years of marriage to St. John with a post that read,“36 years of love and laughter with my beautiful Jill. Happy Anniversary, my love.”

Wagner once explained that his reason for leaving LA was simple: once fame takes over, you can’t move. So he found somewhere he could. It’s a rare Hollywood story with a genuinely happy ending. What classic TV star would you love to see share more behind-the-scenes memories online?
