Robbie Williams brought full pop-star energy to Flemington Racecourse for the 2026 Melbourne Cup, performing a mini-set in front of more than 97,000 people, the biggest Cup day crowd since 2016. He opened with“Feel”wearing a bedazzled horse-themed suit, backed by dancers, musicians and a marching band, then moved through“Rock DJ,”got close to the Cup during“Angels,”and closed with“Let Me Entertain You.”
After Point Of Law won the 166th Melbourne Cup for trainer Ciaron Maher, Williams returned for a full post-race set at The Elms Live Stage, working in covers of Oasis, Midnight Oil, Shania Twain and INXS. Not a bad way to warm up for a stadium tour.
That tour, BRITPOP, opens Nov. 7 at Adelaide Oval with dates across Australia and New Zealand. So the question is: did you catch the Cup set, or are you holding out for the full show? Tell us which Robbie moment you’d have screamed loudest for.
