Rob Lowe Reveals His Best On-Screen Kiss, and He Was 'Very, Very Scared' to Film It

Rob Lowe stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Sunday and gave Andy Cohen an answer that’s already making the rounds. Asked to name his best on-screen kiss, Lowe went straight to Nastassja Kinski, his co-star in the 1984 film The Hotel New Hampshire. His reasoning was short and sweet:“Have a look at her.”He added that at that moment, she was probably the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen.

Here’s the fun part. The kiss he rates highest is also the one that intimidated him most. Lowe admitted he was“very, very scared”to film it, which makes the whole confession feel less like a Hollywood flex and more like a very human memory.

Lowe also revisited his other favorite topic: his 1989 Oscars opening, which he’s called the worst ever.
