Richard Simmons’longtime Hollywood Hills home has officially sold for $3.8 million, a big drop from its $6.99 million asking price when it hit the market in June 2025. The fitness icon lived at 1350 Belfast Drive from the 1980s until his death in July 2024 at age 76, and the property carries four decades of his colorful personality.

The 1937 Neoclassical Revival Colonial spans 4,977 square feet with four bedrooms and 4.5 baths, sitting on just over half an acre above the Sunset Strip. Corinthian columns greet you at the entrance, and the backyard delivers a key-shaped pool, a pool house, a guest house, and a gym. One bedroom even has a ceiling painted as a sky with clouds, which might be the most Richard Simmons detail imaginable.

Listing brokers Rachelle Rosten and Kelly deLaat said the perfect buyer found the home, and that buyer, who remains unidentified, plans to restore it to its classic roots rather than gut it. That means the 1937 character and the quirky touches could stick around for the next chapter. Would you keep the cloud ceiling or repaint it?
