Jamar Goff, 23, the foster son of“Pioneer Woman”star Ree Drummond and her husband Ladd, was arrested September 15 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and booked into Jefferson County Jail. He faces four charges: assaulting a police officer, drug possession, attempting to elude police, and drug paraphernalia possession. Bond was set at $37,000.
According to court documents, officers found Goff shirtless and asleep near a campus fountain, where he allegedly told them he was waiting for someone to sell him meth. When police returned later to serve an existing warrant, they say he ran and then struck an officer at a hospital. Investigators allegedly recovered a glass pipe and 1.8 grams of meth from Goff and his backpack. These are allegations and the case is moving through the courts.
