A new memoir about Princess Diana is about to shake up the royal conversation again. Charles Spencer’sSwan Song: Diana, My Sisterarrives next Tuesday in both the UK and US, and it reportedly includes a claim that King Charles said Diana would be“forgotten soon enough”just days after her 1997 death. The book also revisits the controversial decision to have William and Harry, then 15 and 12, walk behind their mother’s coffin, a moment Harry has said still haunts him.

Here’s the twist: sources tell Page Six that Harry was aware of the book’s contents well before publication. He reportedly discussed it with his uncle at Althorp in July, which raises a big question about family loyalty versus keeping the Palace in the loop. Buckingham Palace, as expected, says it doesn’t comment on books.

So what do you think? Should Harry have given the royal family a heads-up, or does family loyalty to the Spencer side win here? Sound off in the comments.
