Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Loving Cotswolds Life, But Harry Still Hasn't Seen King Charles

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially been Cotswolds residents for six weeks, and by all accounts, they’re settling in beautifully. After six years in North America, the couple traded California sunshine for English countryside charm, and sources say they’re in a genuine honeymoon phase with their new life. There’s just one tiny detail missing from the picture: Harry still hasn’t met with King Charles in person.

The father-son communication has been happening over the phone, but scheduling has gotten in the way. Charles and Camilla have been vacationing in Scotland, and starting October 27, they’re heading out on a Caribbean tour. Meanwhile, tensions are still simmering over Charles Spencer’s new Diana book, which reportedly came with a £4 million paycheck and reportedly didn’t sit well with the King.

Looking ahead, the Sussexes are committed to staying in the UK at least through the end of the school year. Christmas at Sandringham, though? That’s still up in the air, and a future move to Canada or Australia hasn’t been ruled out. So the big question remains: will Harry and his dad finally sit down face to face before the holidays, or is this pattern here to stay? Tell us what you think in the comments.
