Presley Gerber, Son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Dies at 27

Presley Gerber, the model and son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, died Sunday morning at a rehab facility in Santa Monica. He was 27. Paramedics pronounced him dead at 9:45 a.m., about ten minutes after police responded to a possible overdose call. His cause and manner of death are pending additional testing, and officials say foul play is not suspected. He had checked into the treatment center over the weekend.

Gerber had been candid about his years-long fight with addiction to alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines and ketamine, and his 2018 DUI arrest at 19 played out in public. A source close to the family told Page Six that in recent weeks he“seemed a little off,”that“something was just not there,”and that he“wanted so, so badly to be free of his addictions.”His most recent Instagram post, from August 5, showed him smiling while modeling in a garden. He is survived by his parents and his sister, Kaia, and the family has asked for privacy.
