Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, checked himself into a rehab facility in Santa Monica just days before his death on Sept. 20. Police responded to a cardiac arrest and possible overdose call at the facility, and he was pronounced dead shortly after. His cause and manner of death are still pending, according to the LA County Medical Examiner.
Gerber had been open about his struggles with addiction and mental health, including a 2019 DUI and a 2024 disclosure about opioid addiction. A source told Page Six that he had been dealing with self-esteem issues and a lack of purpose, but that he“wanted so, so badly to be free of his addictions.”He reportedly spent time with family the week before entering treatment.
