Pete Davidson Finally Opens Up About Ye's Harassment: "He Did Push Me"

Pete Davidson is on the cover of Variety, and he’s finally addressing the elephant in the room: what it was actually like to date Kim Kardashian while her ex-husband was publicly threatening him. The nine-month relationship ended around August 2022, but the fallout included online threats, the nickname“Skete,”and a music video where Ye depicted Davidson’s decapitation. Four years later, Davidson says the experience“tripped him out,”especially because Ye targeted him knowing Davidson had been open about his mental health struggles.

The most surprising part? Davidson says he has empathy for Ye. He points to the loss of Ye’s mother, his mental health issues, and the relentless pressure of fame, explaining,“What people don’t understand about that dude…is that’ll do it.”Davidson also rejected the idea that his own half-Jewish identity had anything to do with Ye’s later antisemitic comments, keeping the focus on Ye’s personal struggles rather than his own.

As for Kim, Davidson says they remain cool and he has love for her.
