“Dancing With the Stars”fans just got a fresh reason to revisit Season 21. On their“LexLos”podcast, Alexa and Carlos PenaVega claimed that pro partners Witney Carson and Mark Ballas were not getting along at all during the 2015 season, to the point that they refused to be in the same room together.
The married couple, who were competing against each other that year, said the tension forced them to rehearse separately and“dance around”whatever was happening between their partners. Carlos finished 4th with Carson, while Alexa finished 6th with Ballas. Both had positive things to say about their own partners, and both pros returned to the show for Season 35.
