Olivia Rodrigo has officially turned her White Stripes fandom into a collection piece. The pop star bought the vintage white Gunne Sax prairie dress Meg White wore on the cover of The White Stripes’2003 albumElephant. The dress sold at Julien’s Auctions for $25,600, and Olivia confirmed the purchase during a Q&A with The Hollywood Reporter.

For anyone who’s followed Olivia’s career, this makes perfect sense. She once ran a White Stripes fan site and has openly called herself Jack White’s biggest fan. She almost wore the dress at her inaugural Daisy Chains Field festival, but decided against it because of the heat. Her solution? Maybe a winter edition of Daisy Chains down the road.“Maybe if I do Daisy Chain in the winter, I can wear it,”she said.

The timing is fun too. Olivia is currently on The Unraveled Tour behind her third album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, while Jack White is touring behind his new album,Frozen Charlotte. Two artists, two tours, and one very famous dress tying it all together. So what piece of music history would you drop serious money on? Let us know in the comments.
