Natalie Portman is opening up about life as a mom of three, and her words are hitting everyone right in the feelings. In a Harper’s Bazaar interview published Monday, the 45-year-old Oscar winner spoke publicly for the first time about her new baby with partner Tanguy Destable, describing the arrival as magical. She’s keeping the newborn’s name, sex and birth date private, and the baby was first photographed with the couple during a September walk in Paris.

The new addition has shifted how Portman sees her older children, Aleph, 15, and Amalia, 9, whom she shares with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied.“I am reminded of how recently they were these little fresh creations and how quickly they’ve blossomed into incredible humans,”she said. She also offered a line that’s resonating far beyond Hollywood:“The most important thing is love. I’m not embarrassed to say it.”

Portman announced the pregnancy in April, calling it a privilege and a miracle, and she has co-parented Aleph and Amalia with Millepied since their 2023 split. Her relationship with Destable, a 46-year-old DJ known as Tepr, has stayed largely out of the spotlight. What do you think about her take on love and parenting later in life? Tell us in the comments.
