Her new album‘Bass Persuades’debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 61,000 equivalent album units, giving her a sixth chart-topping album and her first since 2013’s‘Bangerz.’That’s a 12-year gap between No. 1 records, and the title track is already making noise on the Hot 100, debuting at No. 35.

The album arrives during her mononym rebrand — just Miley now — and she marked the moment on Instagram with a heartfelt message thanking Atlantic Records, her team, and her fans. She wrote that the No. 1“transcends a win,”adding,“To the fans you make my world go round.”She also shared a note from Atlantic Records CEO Elliot Grainge celebrating the achievement.
