Mike Tyson is teaming up with Netflix twice this fall, and the two projects couldn’t be more different. First up is Tyson, a four-part docuseries premiering October 13. Three weeks later, on November 3, Netflix releases Mike Tyson: Return of the Mike. It’s a one-man comedy special directed by Kiki Tyson and filmed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel&Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Instead of fight footage, viewers get Tyson’s humor and storytelling front and center.
Together, the two releases give fans both the legend and the lighter side of one of the most recognizable figures in sports and pop culture. One is a deep retrospective, the other is a comedy show. Which one are you streaming first?
